A prominent player in the wellness and fitness services industry wanted to shift from external training dependency to building sustainable coaching capabilities internally. Their regional operations across Asia had Club General Managers who needed stronger coaching skills to drive performance, engagement, and talent development within their teams.
To address this, the company partnered with Simon on a Train the Trainer journey focused on a “Coaching for Performance & Development” course. Over the four-day Train the Trainer program, 20 Business Managers from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Hong Kong were trained to become internal Facilitators and Coach Leaders. Returning to their respective markets, these Managers rolled out the two-day coaching program to Club General Managers across their regions.
Throughout this process, the Business Managers received continuous support and feedback to refine their coaching delivery. This helped embed coaching as a leadership practice, strengthening accountability, team development, and performance improvement across the organisation.
By empowering internal leaders to coach and develop others, the business established a strong foundation for a coaching culture that continues to drive long-term leadership capability and operational success.
